Jatropha cathartica (berlandieri) Softball Caudex

Jatropha cathartica is a short fat base forming perennial from Texas and North Mexico. The base can grow to seven inches wide and have several fat tubers going into the ground. When active Jatropha cathartica is in constant bloom of red flowers on wirely flower stems. The parsley-like leaves also remain active throughout the growing season.
