Agave utahensis kaibabensis Kaibab Plateau

Agave utahensis ssp kaibabensis grows on the north rim of the Grand Canyon in the Kaibab Plateau. It is probably the most cold hardy agave species. It forms a small rosette to 14 inches wide and pups freely. Cover with 50% shade cloth in low desert summer heat. You are selecting a clump of two to three plants together.
